The Italian Four Knights - Attack Without risk

Introduction

FIDE Master Bahne Fuhrmann presents the Italian Four Knights (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.d3 Nf6 5.Nc3), a weapon against 1.e4 e5 that brings together the best of both worlds: the rock-solid reliability of the classical systems and a lasting initiative that gives Black no time to breathe, all without the heavy theory of the Ruy Lopez and company.

The emphasis is on understanding rather than memorizing: logical moves, clear plans and plenty of bite, sacrifices and kingside attacks included. The course comes in three parts, the positions after ...d6 that allow the strong Bg5, the systems with ...h6 where White strikes with h3 and g4, and a set of model games to master the middlegame.

Ideal for active players who love to attack but have little time for theory, and a fine surprise weapon against even well-prepared opponents. See you in the theory videos.
