Database Window - Home - Filter games (or Ctrl-F)

Start

Produces a “search mask” in which you can tell the program to look for particular games.

Generate/do-it.gif Search for names, tournament, year, etc.

Note: In the database window, pressing the Tab key will switch the search filter on and off.

ChessBase 17 offers the user the possibility to classify games according to the criterion "beauty". This criterion is also taken into account for the game search, for example. You can filter databases in the new 2CBH format, which have been classified with our database program with beauty values, specifically with the search mask of the chess program.

Note: the classification of the beauty values is only possible with the database program.
