The Easy Game mode in Fritz is a very special experience: The program emulates a human player of a certain strength. Like humans, it plays reasonable chess with natural moves but sometimes suffers from tactical blindness. It overlooks threats, it overlooks the correct punishment of blunders and it plays moves that look good at first sight but are tactically faulty.
The cool thing about this: The program actively searches for natural moves that you can refute tactically. Usually the probability for such moves increases, if you put the program under pressure. This means that playing sharp, risky attacks against Fritz in Easy Game mode, will give you a lot of chances because the program starts blundering in a non-obvious way. Ideal training and fun! You will play many more spectacular sacrifices than in games against real human opponents.
The opponent types are:
Aggressive player (bull) - Swindler (fox) - Allround player (dog) - Positional player (owl) - Endgame crack (turtle) - Hypermodern (cat woman) - Configurable (robot) and VIP.
