The starting point in the video is the basic position of the closed Spanish with Black on move. Black has various set-ups and in his video GM Lars Schandorff takes a closer look at the moves 9....Bb7, 9...Nd7, 9...Re8 and 9...Nb8, concluding that Black is solid, but White enjoys more space for manoeuvring their pieces on both sides.
