Thinking time in Friend mode

Can you play in Fritz or Komodo with automatically adjusted playing strength and still set the time control (blitz, bullet, tournament mode, ...)?

Example

The idea in Friend mode is that the program adapts to your behaviour during its thinking time. For that reason this selection is not available to the user in Friend mode. In rated mode, on the other hand, it is possible to apply the time control set beforehand.
