We do not have a program version adapted for the Mac. You can only use the software on a workaround basis with your Mac computer. A complete port of the software would be very time-consuming and it is therefore not to be expected that Mac versions will be released in the near future.
There are, however, two alternatives for Mac fans that allow Windows and Mac to be used on one and the same system.
1. "Boot Camp", offered by Apple free of charge. It enables the installation of a normal Windows (which, however, must be purchased) on the new Intel Macs. This results in a computer with two operating systems. Booting Windows gives you a normal Windows computer. More information can be found under the keyword "BootCamp" on the internet.
2. Another alternative is "Parallels Desktop". With this software you can switch on your computer from a Mac program to a Windows program without restarting the computer.
While we have not run any tests ourselves, there is nothing to suggest that all ChessBase programs would not function when Windows is running.
The use of our web apps is independent of the operating system used. Here only a current browser with internet access is required.
