A normal-strength player cannot easily follow long engine variations visually in the analysis window. Of course there is the optional variation board (right-click) in the engine window.

The alternative now works via mouseover. Simply move the mouse cursor over a move in the displayed variation and the variation is immediately shown in the board window on the large chessboard.

Note: This function is only available in multi-variation mode.

Example

Simply hover the mouse over a move of the variation and the variation is shown on the board. When you move the mouse cursor away from the variation, the starting position is shown again in the board window.

This display is also available with the new analysis comments in the engine window.
