Suppose you want to copy your database called "My Games" to a disk and transfer it to your notebook.
In the program's database window, first open the database to be compressed.

When the list of games of the database to be compressed is in front of you, choose from the Database menu – Database functions – Archive database.
Alternatively and faster: Ctrl-Z. Give the file a meaningful name.
The compressed database is now saved in a single file with the extension *.CBV. The solution is ideal for sending a database via the internet or for storing your databases neatly and space-savingly.
Opening CBV databases: In the program's database window, from the File menu select the "Open database" function and specify the target path to the compressed CBV database. Set the file type to "Archives".
