Can you continue playing from an entered position/setup on the DGT board?

This works if you place the kings on the electronic chessboard last during position setup.

Important: For the colour assignment, the king of the side to move must be set up last!

You can continue playing from an entered position if you place the kings on the electronic chessboard last during position setup.

For colour assignment, the king of the side to move must be set up last!

Should problems occur, please proceed as follows.

• The position is set up without the kings.

• Connect the DGT board via USB cable.

• In ChessBase, set the tick at Board >>> DGT board.

• The DGT Rabbit Plugin is started.

• The set-up position appears in the Rabbit Plugin and in ChessBase.

• The kings are placed one after the other and appear in ChessBase

If playing/analysing is still not possible, the cause is probably a setting of the Rabbit Plugin.

In the "Rabbit Plugin", a tick must be set under "Extras" >>> "Use Start/Stop setup". This setting is sometimes removed. Set the tick and the driver works.

The set-up position then appears in the Rabbit Plugin, and the initial position in ChessBase.

The kings are placed one after the other and the set-up position appears in ChessBase. The position is now playable.
