Fritz is not just a very strong chess program. It also offers many functions that help you to improve your own game.

Example

In essence it works just like playing against a chess friend who is considerably stronger than you. During the games he will keep pointing out mistakes and possible improvements. The Coach in the program can take on exactly this role.

So why does the Coach give no hints, even though it has been switched on via the Help menu? The Coach is only available when none of the various playing levels with playing-strength restrictions is active. In rated games, too, the program gives no hints during a running game.
