Where do I enter the serial number?

Under User data you will find the section My ChessBase Account.

Here you will find basic information about your account, e.g. its term, and the entry Extend membership by serial number. Enter the serial number in the dialog.

Upgrade from Starter to Premium

You recently bought the Starter subscription and would now like to upgrade to Premium. Is that possible, and if so, how?

You can carry out the conversion from Starter to Premium yourself.

Log in with your account and click your user name. Open your "User data" here. Click "Convert Starter to Premium account". The server then offers to convert your remaining "Starter" term into a new remaining "Premium" term.

Normally the server will propose the conversion at a rate of 3:2 - for 3 months of Starter you receive 2 months of Premium. (If you still have a multi-year Starter membership, a maximum conversion to 3 years of Premium is offered.)

If the "Save" and "Activate" functions in the menu of the main screen are disabled and an update is therefore not possible, this is because you are not logged in to the program with a valid ChessBase Account.
