Animation speed

The default setting of the piece animation speed when replaying games in Komodo and ChessBase is geared towards speed. The pieces therefore move quite quickly on the board, so that you can scroll through the game notation rapidly when needed.

Some users want a clearly slower animation speed to better follow the games. A right-click on the board window starts the settings dialog for the graphical chessboard.

Animation settings

If you move the slider under the entry "Animation" to the right, the piece animation speed is significantly reduced. This setting option is available in both Komodo and ChessBase.
