Fritz 21 Handbook

Chess 960 in practice

Under "Start - New Game" you select 960.

Example

In the dialog that follows you then choose the predefined number of the Fischer Random position with which the game is to be played.

You can then play a game or analyse one.

You can also open a game from a database, in the usual way via "File - Open - Database".

Games you play yourself against the program are stored in the automatically created database Autosave-960.cbh.

In the games list, the "P" column shows the number of the position that was played.

There are several chess engines that support this mode.
