The program offers numerous options for designing the user interface to your own taste. You can "set up" your work environment with different board graphics and piece sets. Our new programs strictly follow Microsoft's guidelines for designing user interfaces. You already know the technique from Windows Explorer or Outlook. When you resize a window, the other windows on the screen adjust automatically.
The decisive advantage: overlapping windows and a cluttered screen are a thing of the past, and you can concentrate fully on your chess work.

Window technique 1
In the Window menu, you can select which window with the corresponding information should be displayed. In the program, there is, for example, a separate window for the display of the calculation information, the notation, the chessboard, the openings book, and so on. The windows can be moved on the screen and resized.
Between the individual window panes you find the splitter bars.
When you move the mouse cursor onto a splitter bar, the mouse pointer changes and the splitter icon appears. Now click on the splitter bar and drag with the mouse button pressed. The advantages of automatic scaling and the resulting optimal proportional division of the screen are immediately apparent.
Tip: You can customise the appearance of the splitter bar under Menu – Options – Design. Set the desired value under splitter bar thickness.
Window technique 2
Another option, rarely used by many users: you can move the windows and position them anywhere on the screen. To move a window, place the mouse pointer on the splitter bar at the top of a window. You can find information on moving windows here ....
With a little practice, you can easily adapt the screen to your own specifications.
