Problem: You want to use the program to record and save games, e.g. your own games from the last club championship.

Start Fritz with "Enter and Analyse"

Analysis mode

This switches the program into analysis mode. In this mode the program calculates eagerly on the current board position in the background but does not play any moves. You can now enter the move notation and at the same time see in the analysis window how the engine evaluates the current position.

Tip: If no engine should calculate during the game entry, choose from the Engine menu the function Switch off engine.

Note: Note the possibility of editing notations!
